Salsa Caleña (or Colombian Salsa) is unique to Cali and truly a cultural treasure. It's fast-paced, footwork-heavy, and acrobatic. Watching local dancers perform it is like watching a mix of salsa and gymnastics.

Also known as “salsa en línea”, “on1” or “on2”, this style is much more structured and commonly taught around the world — from LA to Tokyo to Paris.

✅ Key features:

• Linear movement (as the name says)

• More focus on leading/following connection

• Slower tempo than Caleña

• Easier for beginners and international communication
